On a wonderful November day in Downtown Buffalo, Erin + Jerry tied the knot! From the memorable ceremony at the beautiful and quaint Christ the King Church on the campus of Canisius College, to the lovely reception at the Avant on Delaware Avenue, this Bride + Groom thought of it all for a memorable experience! The Avant building provided a dramatic staircase for an intimate ‘First Look’ for the couple before their ceremony. It was a cherished moment for the couple, and our cameras were rolling to capture it all!

We are truly appreciative and still speechless by all the votes! Also a big shout out to Brides World for hosting an amazing bridal show at the convention center. Do you know Downtown Buffalo like the back of your hand? If Participants with the Buffalo Chevy Sonic Adventure didn’t…they learned real quick! In pairs, Western New Yorkers were given 2 hours to roam around Buffalo to find histoic landmarks and interesting facts about the Queen City. The best part about this scavenger hunt? A new Chevy Car!!! The incentive had couples running all around the city, dreaming of a new ride and hoping to answer the most questions correct. In the end, only one lucky couple drove off in a new Chevy Sonic. Congrats!!! We most likely lost a few pounds trying to keep up with our eager and energetic couples..but it was worth it! Great Event!

Cinematic Engagement Session – Bridget + Shaun – The Love Story – Becker Farms, Gasport NY

Our day was filled with fun while filming Bridget and Shaun’s love story! With scenic apple orchards, rustic vineyards with delicious concord grapes, and endless cornfields there were so many beautiful backdrops to film this couple. Even on a chilly October day, our day was filled with laughter and smiles with this couple. Bridget + Shaun now live in Boston, but it was important for them to come back to Buffalo for this important shoot.  Their first date was here at Becker Farms in Gasport New York, so it was no surprise we ended up here for their engagement session and love story.

There’s something special about the fall season in Western New York. The leaves change colors, transforming into magnificent and vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow. There’s a crispness to the air. Everyone starts bundling up, sipping on warm apple cider. The Fall season also has special meaning to Bridget + Shaun. October is when this fun-loving couple were introduced to each other… and the rest is history! Even though this energetic couple lives in the fast-paced City of Boston, they wanted to go back to the site of their first date, the stunning Becker Farms in Gasport, New York. We had so much fun strolling through the beautiful apple orchards and regal vineyards…and snapped some beautiful shots to prove it! Here’s a sneak peak of much more to come!!!

Shutter Dream Studio was lucky enough to meet countless dedicated WNY farmers in Marilla, NY. We always knew the importance of farming and agriculture but never realized how dedicated and hard working our local farmers are. Marilla is a scenic rural suburb of Buffalo, NY and the landscape is incredible! Many thanks to the farmers including Warren Handley who opened their doors and their hearts for the making of this film. Their long hours in the field provide us the many necessities we all take for granted. This film highlights the importance of farmland and agriculture, and the dangers of pro-development. No Farms, No Food.

We celebrated the long Independence day weekend with Resechel + Tony as they said ‘I DO’. The couple had an elegant wedding at Queen of Martyrs Church in Cheektowaga, New York and had one of the nicest and most accommodating Priests to preside over mass: Fr. Lou Klein. Following the ceremony, we stopped at our favorite spot: Hoyt Lake at Delaware Park. The landscaping is always pristine and has an old world charm. Next stop was Joseph’s Catering Service in Depew New York.
